Castello in Glinde

"Goose-to-go" was very tasty and was already cut up. The skeleton was also included. The side dishes of red cabbage, Brussels sprouts, potatoes and croquettes with sauce are also good and like homemade. Everything very well packaged and therefore hot on our table. Unfortunately, we only discovered the great filling while washing the dishes :-)

At the weekend we had two German geese that were just great. One expertly dismantled, the other in one piece. Punctually and perfectly fried to the minute. We can only recommend it!

The quality of the Castello is excellent. Of course, in these times of out-of-home sales, the menu is clear. But all pasta dishes, especially spaghetti with scampi, are unsurpassable. With starters, dessert ... I am a regular and will stay one. With cold Gavi white wine. A pleasure. I keep coming back.

This restaurant is tucked away in a pure Residential area. The entrance is not to be found when you stand in front of the house. A sign would be helpful. So we walked around the whole house almost once. After reservation, we entered the empty restaurant on 08/25/20 at 1:15 p.m. Now we were hoping for a friendly greeting that did not come. Inside was a member of staff with long black hair and glasses who, on my advice that we had made a reservation, assigned us a table with sets of pads on it. Other tables also had tablecloths. A handful of simple dishes were written on a slate for lunch. We ordered a tomato soup (€ 5.50), a mixed salad, (€ 5.50) scampis (prawns would be the right formulation) in cognac-pepper sauce (€ 21.50). We also ordered a small San Pellegrino mineral water (€ 2.10) and a bottle of Gavi di Gavi Salvano white wine (€ 26.50). There is no wine list! The employee showed us 3 white wines and 3 red wines. The white wine was placed in a wine cooler (vat), which, however, could not cool the wine. The service of the employee could be described as unfriendly, disinterested, little tried and taciturn. That was remarkable since we were the only guests in the restaurant! First there was fresh bread with a tasty dip. The tomato soup tasted good and the prawns with the sauce were also well done! The toilets are on the first floor. Only the boss understands why there is no sign on the wall that points to the toilets and instead a sign with the word "Markt" is. My subjective conclusion: Ambience: 3 points Service: 1-2 points Price / performance: 3 points Quality and preparation of the food: 4 points Wine selection: 2 points Location of the restaurant: 2 points

we were there on a Sunday at lunchtime. The food was OK, only for vegetarians there was little. The restaurant had better times.

a very comfortable Italian with small menu + extra day ticket (no pizza) see pictures. The boss is still serving and standing in the kitchen with a helping hand. No TC only fresh products. The spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti salmon with tomato cream sauce totally delicious hmm. Nix for bargains upscale prices but worth the money

Perfect restaurant that leaves nothing to be desired. The food was high quality and always perfectly prepared. The owner and his wife are always friendly and hospitable in every way. Here is gastronomy in high quality Lived.

Pretty cottage in a quiet location. The food has always tasted good. Sometimes one is asked a bit too much for further wishes, almost crowded. Sometimes you just want to eat something small and have a glass of wine, that should be ok, if there is not a lot of space.

We can only report the best. Early on Sunday afternoon, we would be warmly received, well advised, served quietly but quickly. The food itself 🥘 very tasty. We will be back.
